What an amazing 2 floors of fantastic imported food and wine. There are so many lovely choices of German food including a phenomenal butcher shop and deli. There are imported chocolates, spices, honey, fresh produce, fruit juices. Everything you could want. But for us Germanophiles the Brat selection is amazing.

This is a small Germany market. Clean and organiza. I bought sausage and cheese. The second floor has diversity products like beer, wine, pickles, pastas, and others. The sausage are delicious

Gene’s is amazing butcher shop with rooftop deck where you can enjoy eateries no freshly prepared sausage from the below store. Only annoying thing - roof restaurant is all cash.

There is so much amazing space. I would highly recommend it to everyone who lives or visits Chicago area. Even if you come in just once. I visited Gene's during my last visit to Chicago. It was so great that I am planning another Chicago trip sooner. The food selection is mouthwatering, the deli is insane, the wine/beer selection was amazing... You feel like a kid in a candy/toy/video game store. You need to visit.

I've been to this store a few times, let me tell you ALL of the staff are super friendly and respectful. The meat and other products are official. I can't remember the women at the front counter in the morning, she has the best attitude a very positive person and very knowledgeable about all the products. You all most definitely have my business for now on.
